Soaring to Our Highest at Christ the King
School
My name is Diane Rentner and I teach seventh grade at
Christ the King School. . I have been teaching in the Joliet Diocese most of my
adult life . I feel that I have brought much creativity and love to my work with
children, as well as compassionate discipline. As a teacher and a parent, I
recognize the differences in students and their learning styles. Therefore, I
strive to diversify my instruction to meet the needs of all my students, not
just the majority of my students.
I am committed to Catholic education. I believe that our unique environment gives us the opportunity and the responsibility to create an atmosphere where students are “other” centered. We do this by offering students experiences and models that will help them recognize their duty to serve God by serving others. We are able to incorporate this mission into all our subjects.
As a Christ the King school parent, I am keenly aware of the commitment to the spiritual, intellectual, and emotional development of the child which is present in the Christ the King School Community. The strong partnership of parent, school, and parish in this endeavor is one of the things which make Christ the King an exceptional school. I appreciate this dedication as a parent and enjoy the fruits of this partnership as a teacher.
My vocation as a Catholic school
teacher has deeply enriched my life. I strive to share this gratitude for the
opportunities given to me with my students. In this atmosphere both students and
teachers are enabled to reach our potential as contributing members of our
families, communities, and world.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Diane Rentner
